About Axon
Fellowships in financial practice. Funded in full, for graduates from township and rural communities.Who We Are
Axon FS Knowledge Hub is a South African non-profit company and a SARS-approved Public Benefit Organisation.
We award fellowships in financial practice. Each is funded in full — tuition, stipend, and a supervised work placement — and runs for twelve months. Fellows graduate with an industry licence and an accredited academic qualification.
The Fellowship is the centre of Axon. Enterprise and Education exist to serve it. Enterprise employs fellows during their fellowship. Education prepares the learners who will be selected next.
Our work is in financial services because that is where the National Development Plan's mandate is most unmet. The communities least served by institutional finance should be served by practitioners who come from them.

Selection
Fellows are selected, not enrolled. Cohort size is deliberately small.
Enterprise employs fellows during their fellowship. It is the employer of record for the placement component of the programme, and it supports the small businesses and community ventures fellows serve after licensing.

Employer of record during the fellowship.
Education prepares township and rural learners for eventual selection into a Fellowship. It runs foundational and enrichment programmes in the skills the Fellowship requires, delivered with the City of Johannesburg across all City Regions.
