The Award
What Axon Underwrites
A fellowship is a full award. Nothing is paid by the fellow. Axon funds tuition, pays a monthly stipend, and places every fellow in supervised, paid work-integrated learning.
An Axon Fellowship is a structured, work-integrated, research-driven formation. Fellows graduate with industry certificates and accredited qualifications, produced through a pracademic approach that blends academic rigour with applied practice. The fellowship is the institution's most visible instrument — not its only one.
The Formation
From Selection to Licensed Practice
Formation runs in three phases: Selection (awarded a funded place in the cohort), Formation (supervised academic study and professional preparation), and Placement (paid work-integrated learning and licensing).
Fellows gain professional licensing, a live impact portfolio, senior mentorship, and a bankable route into institutional practice — and, beyond the twelve months, standing membership of the Axon network.

Axon is the Catalytic Execution Arm
The National Development Plan sets the target. Fellowships form the people who will meet it. But targets and people alone do not build an economy — something has to execute. That is the institution.
Axon executes across four functions. Enterprise builds the systems township and rural ventures actually run on. Applied Research generates the evidence that proves what works. The Knowledge Hub consolidates the data. Programmes convene the funders, operators, and institutions that make the market function. Without this layer, the fellowship produces graduates into a vacuum.
This is not career placement — this is the construction of a new economic frontier, with the infrastructure to sustain it.
